MCB back in Chicago! Cheri Bonawitz, CCIM recently attended the NAR Leadership meeting in preparation for becoming Maine Commercial Association of Realtors Realtor of the Year! At the meeting, Cheri learned some invaluable insights about the advantages of what NAR has to offer for commercial brokers as well as buyers agency and how to explain change in commission.
Cheri also ran into her pal Mike Hickey who is on one of the committees for NAR in Vermont. Cheri knows Mike through their involvement in USA Hockey.
As Cheri was in the airport, she noticed that her area was 90% realtors, resulting in an impromptu networking event in the terminal! Everyone was passing cards and engaging in meaningful conversations. Brokers are never truly off the clock!
